Role: New positions exist for Portuguese Accounts payable/Accounts receivable professionals to join their finance team in Bucharest. These teams are responsible for managing the payments of the bills and handling incoming payments of the Portuguese companies in the group. This involves contacting customers, monitoring customer accounts, handling payments and accruals. &lt;br /&gt;

The Role – General Ledger:&lt;br /&gt;
- General accounting tasks (Manual Journal Entry (MJE) preparations and postings, regular closing &amp; reporting activities, etc.) for different TBs&lt;br /&gt;
- Prepare B/S account reconciliations&lt;br /&gt;
- Daily bank statement processing and reconciliation of bank accounts&lt;br /&gt;
- Fixed Asset accounting (additions, disposal, depreciation run, etc.)&lt;br /&gt;
- Posting of tax provisions/ adjustments&lt;br /&gt;
- Prepaid expense tracking and posting of the respective journals&lt;br /&gt;
- Payroll posting and reconciliation for the related accounts&lt;br /&gt;
- Prepare Monthly / Quarterly / Annual Reporting data from ERP&lt;br /&gt;
- Inter-company accounting and reconciliation&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Requirements:&lt;br /&gt;
- 3rd Level Education (CA/ CWA/ Bachelor Degree)&lt;br /&gt;
- 2+ years in GL Role or strong AP with experience in month end closing&lt;br /&gt;
- Good understanding of Fixed Asset accounting and projects (e.g. IFRS, Portuguese GAAP)&lt;br /&gt;
- SAP knowledge&lt;br /&gt;
- Fluency in Portuguese and English&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
